Join me in my efforts to support American Heart Association / American Stroke Association - Boston, MA!
Two years ago my mother suffered back to back strokes after undergoing major heart surgery. My family was extremely fortunate that she was in the hospital at the time so her doctors were able to act immediately, yet my mother still lost some vision in her left eye and spent over 9 months relearning how to speak.
I have joined Tedy’s Team for a third year to continue the fight against the nation’s third leading cause of death. I will be running hundreds of miles over the next few months for my mom, Tedy, and would be happy to run for any of your stroke heroes.
While running 26.2 miles may seem challenging or impossible to most, it is nothing in comparison to recovering from a stroke or watching a loved one suffer through one first hand. I would rather run a million miles than watch her go through this again.
